Power Outages affect more than you know! In addition to your home, a power outage can disrupt communications, water distribution, and transportation.
Some helpful tips in the event of a power outage (regardless of weather):
1. If safe, go to an alternate location for heat or cooling.
2. Have alternate plans for refrigerating medicines or power dependent medical devices.
3. Disconnect appliances to avoid damage from electrical surges.
